Alex Hamilton’s Cast & Crew Exhibition
Fancy yourself a bit of a pop icon? Pop culture, that is. Want to see yourself in full colour, silk screen ditych, just like Marilyn Monroe and Nelson Mandela? Cape Town visual artist Alex Hamilton has reinvented Andy Warhol’s celebrity style with a collection of 1000 hand-cut stencil portraits of the most influential popular icons to date, including 300 South Africans. Hamilton’s exhibition will run from 5 November until 29 November at the Alex Hamilton Studio, 2nd Floor, Back Building, Woodstock Industrial Centre, 66 - 68 Albert Road, Woodstock, Cape Town. Who knows, you might even see yourself in technicoloured glory.
